My opinion. Windows 8 doesn’t look great. As a PC gamer I don’t like the GUI. It looks like it’ll be too much of a proc and RAM hog. I just hope they allow an option to switch to the old GUI like Win7 and before has.

If you look at all of the blog posts in the Building Windows 8 blog, and actually try it out on a desktop, the memory usage is actually lower. Same with CPU. The desktop still exists, and boot times are fairly faster than in Windows 7.
